The night before a test photo shoot

Don't eat a high sodium dinner the night before (to keep away the puffiness) and go to sleep early.

Pack a bag with things you may need on the shoot like compact, lip gloss, mascara, extra pair of fashionable shoes and a nude bra and thong panties.

Any other advice from anyone who has newly found a modeling agency and wants to give some great advice?

Hi Judy,

At first I was carrying all of this STUFF around with me. Thing's that I did'nt even need or ever use. The thing's u mention is all u really need. Oh and the eye lash curler !! LOL

For the most part we must think quick, easy, and portable for travel.

Sunworshipper,

Yes, actually, I do!

My favorite agency in Australia (and one that's been around a long time) is Chadwick's - www.chadwickmodels.com

Thanks for posting!!

Hi All,

It's been forever since I've been on. So many congrats and wonderful things happening. The girls are still traveling around visting the grandparents but I had to stop in.

Morgan always packs energy bars, asprin (she gets a lot of headaches), and bottled water. If it's an outdoor shoot, then the suntan lotion.

Mary -- I can't wait to see your pictures up on Red's website. How exciting!!!! and we're sooo happy for you.

Judy -- Morgan got your latest email. She was so excited reading it - it almost made her late for the airport the next day because she couldn't sleep. I know she wants to email you when she gets back to say thank you for all your kind words and encouragement.

Less than 10 days for your BOOK. Can't wait. And the YouTube interview. So lovely and sincere and charming. You are just a good soul Judy....

Still catching up on the blogs -- hope I haven't missed any thing yet.

Awwww, thank-you Morgan's Mom!! :)

That is really sweet - I'm glad Morgan is hanging in there, she really has potential. She is going to find an agency eventually and just be so happy she worked so hard.

I did tell her that I approached Ford Models in NY five times, right? Over the course of about 2 years, and I finally got in through Ford Miami, when I was living in Miami. Sometimes you have to take baby steps, and sometimes you have to wait years to get the right representation.

Thank-you for your support, and we're all here for Morgan!!!

Hi!

I have a question and I don’t know where to put it so I’ll just put it here. My hair naturally falls into my face because of the way it’s styled/cut – when I take pictures to send to agencies should the face shots be with my hair pulled back in a ponytail or just back off my face or does it matter?

Also I know you’re on the east coast but do you know any good agencies in the Pacific Northwest? I’m in the Portland, Oregon area and Seattle is only a 3 hour drive.

Thank you!

Dear Travis,

You should send some with your hair down and some with your hair pulled back - pony tail or just pulled back, doesn't matter. Whatever you feel most comfortable in. Get my book - it answers ALL these questions and more!!

Seattle - Seattle Models Guild is a TERRIFIC modeling agency, reputable and has been around for years.

Portland modeling agencies? Try www.modeartists.com and www.ryanartists.com - they look legit to me on the web, but I don't know them personally. Just don't pay money for any pictures or anything else to try and get into an agency, and you'll be fine.

GOOD LUCK!

Keep us posted!!
