Water is SO important!

Are you drinking water? If so, how much do you drink a day?
This blog is about "water awareness," and figuring out how much is enough, especially if you are DIETING. Models are forever carrying around bottles of water, do you know why?

I personally drink at least a litre per day...

this question isn't related to the topic. is it harder to break into modeling if you have oily skin. because i'm a 20yr old female and my face doesn't have any blemishes it's just oily is that a disadvantage for me?

You need to drink lots of water to cleanse out your system, so you are feeling fresh, LOOKING fresh, and have more energy.

Water is particularly important if you are dieting, because you need to keep your body hydrated. I don't like to say "dieting" but people do, I feel like eating healthy is considered dieting, because if you simply eat healthy and keep track of what you eat you will not gain as much weight.

Hi Alexandra,

Oily skin is not a disadvantage, you just need to buy a nice transparent powder to see agencies or go on castings.

You are lucky - people with oily skin tend to get less wrinkles when they are older!! :)

We take water everywhere! Living at higher elevation (6,000) we drink plenty of the good stuff. Then if you factor in exercise...

If you feel thirsty you're already too late and best to start filling up.

Drink Up!

Good point about the higher elevation...I used to work with a photographer when I was modeling full-time who made every model drink a few sips of ice cold water RIGHT before she took the picture...seems it makes your eyes brighter??

Well, whatever it does it sure cleans out your system and keeps you feeling and looking fresher!

People underestimate the power of water.
