Modeling Takes Patience...

If you send your pictures into modeling agencies too often, or send the same pictures in over and over, you could appear to be desperate.

Modeling takes patience! If your pictures don't attract any attention the first time, WAIT a minimum of 6 weeks until sending new ones in again, preferably 2 - 3 months.

I know it's hard! But waiting may be your biggest advantage when marketing yourself to an agency.

Is anyone out there waiting to hear from modeling agencies?
Post your frustrations! Sometimes it's better to hear that other people are going through the same thing..

Passion for your career

Cory Bautista, the director of New York Models and host on Bravo's "Make Me a Supermodel" had some really poignant things to say in his blog:

Cory's Blog
So Much Growth

BRAVOTV.COM: What was your take on Holly? How has she grown over the season?

CORY: Holly grew this season, but she had an advantage over the others, which was her passion for this industry. You are bound to learn a thing or two when you study it the way she did. She knows who the top photographers and stylists are, she knows how to pose due to all the editorial magazines she has devoured and she believes in herself. Despite agencies rejections to represent her, she never took no for an answer.

These are some things a lot of people need to understand when trying to enter the modeling industry! I always say rejection is 99% of modeling...
